Installation and service

Energetix has developed Kingston with simplicity of installation and service in mind. It has been designed to enable existing Gas Safe installers to install and service. Whilst the product contains new technology, the microCHP module, this component is a sealed system which is connected into the “boiler” part of the appliance with two water connections and electrical connections.

Kingston is designed as two separate but integrated parts, the boiler part and the microCHP module. It is possible to install the boiler part onto the wall first before adding the microCHP module making installation easier. This same approach allows service replacement of the module should this be necessary. All other conventional boiler parts familiar to a service person are located at the front of the appliance, such as the gas valve burner controls, fan etc.
