Genlec’s domestic microCHP product, Kingston, is a boiler that heats your home and produces hot water whilst generating electricity. Kingston is designed as a replacement for your conventional gas fired boiler and is installed in a similar manner to existing boilers.
Electricity is generated whilst the boiler is on and can be used in the home, avoiding purchasing electricity from the mains, saving you money. The Governments Feed-in-Tariff also ensures you recieve an additional payment for every unit of electricity your microCHP boiler produces. Excess electricity can be exported to the grid.
